What Neo Health collects, why we collect it, and how provider and patient information is handled.

Placeholder — not our actual terms. The structure and headings are real; the wording below is example text standing in until Legal supplies the copy. Nothing here is binding on anyone.
This policy explains what we collect when you use Neo, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers information about you as a provider, and the patient information you record while using the platform.
It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
To confirm you are who you say you are, and that your registration is genuine, we check the details you provide against official registers and verification services.
Sensitive identifiers, such as licence and national identity numbers, are encrypted before they are stored. We ask for your consent before any of this is sent for checking, and we record when that consent was given.
Patient records you create in Neo are held on behalf of you and your organisation. We process them to provide the service, and we do not use them for advertising or sell them to anyone.
Access is limited to the people involved in that patient’s care, to a small number of authorised Neo staff where support or safety requires it, and — in an emergency — under a time-limited override. We keep an audit log of access to patient records.
Information is encrypted in transit. Documents and sensitive identifiers are also encrypted at rest. Access within Neo is role-based and audited, and sensitive documents are stored separately from ordinary account data.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority as required.
Account and verification information is kept while your account is active, and afterwards for as long as we are required to retain it. Patient records are retained according to the rules that apply to the treating organisation.
Audit logs of access to records are retained for seven years.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
Requests about a patient record should go through the organisation responsible for that patient’s care.
We may update this policy as the platform develops or as the law requires. Where a change materially affects you, we will let you know before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
